Mark Dattel

Mark Dattel, is President of Dattel Realty Company. He graduated from Rhodes College in Memphis,TN, with a degree in Urban Development and joined his dad, Samuel Dattel (a founding member of AUSPL), in the business in 1994. Mark has built and leased over 200 post offices and other governmental buildings and still owns and manages many of them, as well as other commercial and residential properties.

Jeremy Garber

Jeremy Garber

Jeremy Garber is President, Treasurer and Secretary of Postal Realty Trust (PRT) and leads its financial, operational and strategic activities. Prior to joining PRT Mr. Garber served as a consultant to Postal Group LLC, beginning in January 2017. Prior to 2017, Mr. Garber served as a consultant to private real estate investment companies and family offices. From June 2014 to December 2015, he was the Chief Operating Officer of Burford Capital (LON:BUR), a London Stock Exchange-listed global finance firm focused on litigation finance and specialty finance for the legal industry. From 2004 to 2014, Mr. Garber was the Chief Operating Officer for various hedge funds, including Longacre Fund Management and Trilogy Capital Management. From 1999 to 2004, Mr. Garber worked at Lehman Brothers in the equity capital markets and prime brokerage divisions. He began his professional career at ACAP, Inc., where he was the Chief Operating Officer, Chief Financial Officer and General Counsel. Mr. Garber earned his JD from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law and his bachelor’s degree in economics from Yeshiva University.

Harry Glenn

Harry Glenn

Harry Glenn, a Vice President for Van Scoyoc Associates, is AUSPL’s representative in Washington, DC. In that role, he helps educate members of Congress and their staff about issues of importance to our members, in particular the importance of the leasing program to postal customers and communities and the value leased facilities provide to the US Postal Service. His goal is to expand the level of involvement of our Board and our members with their Congressmen. Prior to joining Van Scoyoc Associates, Harry was the Chief of Staff to U.S. Rep. C. W. Bill Young of Florida, and served on his staff for 34 years.

Mark Karolczyk

Mark Karolczyk

As Director of Operations, Mark is responsible for planning, directing, and managing AUSPL’s daily operations, budgeting, communications, the annual conference, regional meetings, etc. Further, Mark will help coordinate AUSPL’s outreach to and relationships with Congress and the USPS, including attending meetings at USPS executive headquarters and Congressional offices.

Lawrence Magdovitz, II

Lawrence Magdovitz, II

Lawrence “Larry” Magdovitz, II is the President of Harrimack, LLC.  Currently, Harrimack, LLC manages 974 post offices in 46 states and Puerto Rico, as well as other commercial real estate throughout the United States.  Prior to founding Harrimack, LLC in 2015, Larry practiced as a tax attorney with Phelps Dunbar, LLP in Tupelo, MS.  His academic background includes a B.A. in Economics and Political Science from Boston University, a J.D. from the University of Tennessee-Knoxville College of Law and an LL.M. in Taxation from New York University.  He is also a Certified Property Manager (CPM®) credentialed through the Institute of Real Estate Management.

Steve Roberts

Steve Roberts

Steve Roberts is a third-generation postal lessor from Cleveland, OH. His grandfather, George W. Timmons, built post offices in the Great Lakes states during the 1960s, and the family continues to lease to the USPS almost 100,000 sq. ft of space in Ohio, Michigan, Indiana and Kentucky. His uncle, David Timmons, previously served on the AUSPL Board.

Mr. Roberts is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and has an MBA in Management and Finance from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. He has twenty-five years of experience as a business appraiser and four years as the Technology Transfer Officer at Kent State University. This experience will provide excellent background for the AUSPL Board. As President and Managing Partner of Timmons Properties, he is well versed in all phases of working with the USPS. Lease negotiations, maintenance issues, technology platforms, and monitoring USPS policies and market conditions are all part of his customary responsibilities. He has worked closely with his cousins and siblings to ensure that this family business will succeed in the third generation, and, with luck, well into the fourth.
